Council invites residents to join them for mulled wine & mince pies
West Parley Parish Council would like to invite all residents for mulled wine and mince pies, and some festive community spirit! It's at the West Parley Community Hub, 275 Christchurch Road between 5pm and 7pm on Monday 16th December.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Gardening Club at Parley Place
A new Gardening Club is taking place every Wednesday at Parley Place Care Home between 2.30 and 3.30pm.
Come along and join Nick in the fresh air, refreshments provided!
West Parley Gardening Club
West Parley Gardening Club meets on the last Tuesday of the month at the Ms Centre Dorset, Church Lane, West Parley, BH22 8TS.

Dorset Council's Get Active Outdoors 2024 - Guide out now!
January sees the release of the new Get Active Outdoors brochure, which aims to support local people to get and stay active through a range of entry level activities, delivered in Dorset’s beautiful green spaces.
Nordic Walking, Get into Golf and Fresh Air Fitness for beginners are just some of the instructor led courses available, alongside group led Couch to 5K, Orienteering tasters, Health Walks and Health Cycle Rides.

Fill our Bug Hotels
Something to do anytime, when you are enjoying Parley Wood. Our hungry bugs need sticks and twigs, moss, leaves or cardboard, please fill our bug hotels.

- Coffee Morning, the weekly Wednesday coffee mornings which were started by the Parish Council and PoPPS at the Council's premises at 275 Christchurch Road, have been suspended whilst repairs are undertaken at the building. We hope to reinstate these as soon as possible.
- West Parley Health Walks, the walkers are not meeting at the clubhouse presently, but informally continuing until such a time as the Community Hub re-opens.
- Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club, Weds 7pm at the Dudsbury Golf Club. Rotary welcomes new members. You would be welcome to join a meeting and see for yourself or contact 07983 681583
- St John Ambulance Cadets and Badgers, Tues 7pm - 8.30pm at Longham Church

Ferndown Library, there's lots of fun stuff going on!
- Rhyme time, songs and rhymes for toddlers and babies, every Friday, 10am to 11.30am.
- Board fridays, fun board games drop in sessions, every Friday, 11am to 2pm.
- Story time, all children welcome, every Saturday, 11am to 11.30am.
- Adult colouring, first Wednesday of the month, 10am to 11.30am.
- Coffee morning, second Tuesday of the month, 10am to 11.30am.
- Knit and natter, third Tuesday of the month, 10am to 11.30am.
- Make a noise, a fun and informative coffee morning for the visually impaired, third Thursday of the month, 10.30am to 11.30am.
