Parley Pharmacy have been asked by the NHS to provide the Covid Vaccination Service however this requires a team of volunteers to support its success.
The shifts could be split into three a day (9am-12pm, 12-3pm & 3-6pm) and most likely Monday to Thursday. For this to be a success, it needs 1 volunteer at a time to welcome patients against the list to ensure a smooth service.
It would be great to be able to offer the facility to residents.
If you are interested, please get in touch with either the Parish Council or direct to Parley Pharmacy.

14 September 2023 Land East of New Road
Since the planning application for houses was open for public consultation in August 2022, the Parish Council highlighted the absence of a Construction Method Plan (CMP)and has chased for a copy of the plan. The CMP details how sites operate and provides a ‘rule book’ to allow enforcement of deviances from the agreed rules. An example of this is
"The proposed hours for construction work will be 0800 - 1800 Monday to Friday inclusive and 0900 - 1300 Saturday, there will be no construction work outside of these days and hours or on any Bank/Public holiday"
The CMP for the Bellway Homes site, land east of New Road, was finally forthcoming just last week after the Parish Council escalated its absence within Dorset Council.
If there are ongoing issues that contravene the ‘rules’ within the CMP, it is recommended to report these via the planning enforcement online form which will mean they go straight to the relevant officers to investigate.
